Victory Villages Church - January 2012
At Victory Villages Church we firmly believe that 'Church is Community'.
In these times nothing is more important than communities and families pulling together - children, teens, parents, singles and the more mature amongst us. So we are starting 'Community' on the third Sunday of every month at 5.00 p.m. in the Institute. The idea is for us all to come together and be with each other whatever our age. We are all needed. There will be plenty of things to do including crafts, challenging games etc. Maybe we can teach each other new things, like knitting and drawing, whatever is your gifting (ideas please).There will be a ten minute 'God Slot' (a couple of lively songs and a 5 minute chat) because we believe that God is at the centre of every community. We will also do what all families do and share a meal at some point. Nothing fancy - maybe soup and a roll for the adults and beef burgers for the younger members.
The first 'Community' will be on Sunday 22nd January (actually the 4th Sunday but it will be every third after that) 5 p.m. at the Institute. We look forward to seeing you there. By the way all children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
P.S. Would anyone be willing to play either the guitar or keyboard for us?
