Elmham Wives Club December 2010
On Thursday 11th November we had Margaret Furness demonstrate the making of homemade chocolates, and what a treat we had. First of all she made white chocolate sour cherry fudge, then Bailey’s Truffles and last of all Brandy Tiffin. We had tasters of each and she provided us with the recipes. They all tasted divine and she made it look so easy to make them that we all said we would have a go as they would make ideal Christmas presents. Margaret also gave a box of her truffles for the raffle and one lucky winner went home very happy.
There will be no meeting on 9th December instead we will have our trip to Felbrigg Hall on the 16th December. We will travel by coach leaving 12 Cathedral Drive (Gloria’s) at 5.15 p.m. and then pick up at the usual places in Eastgate Street and Station Road. Any queries please telephone 668530.
