Elmham Wives Club - March 2012

Our first meeting of the year was held on 9th February, when we held our AGM.  The minutes of the last AGM were agreed and Gloria was re-elected as chair.   11 people attended and this included a few new guests which are always very nice to see.  Unfortunately due to the weather not being too good the speaker booked for the evening cancelled, but we hope Linda Brown of Norfolk Knitters will be able to give us a talk later in the year.
We were all given the programme for the year and enjoyed our chat about this with our tea and cakes.
The next meeting will be held on Thursday 8th March when John and Jane Richardson will give an illustrated talk entitled “The Grey Nomads”.  This will cover the intensive travel the couple have made all over the world – and very interesting it sounds as well.
Please come along and join us for the evening – you do not have to be a member to attend.
