Improving the Church Facilities - Jan 2012
After much discussion, the general consensus was that of all the suggestions for improving disabled access, providing toilets and a small kitchen, the one that involved building an extension to the north of the church was the best. However we felt that it needed to be a little larger so that there was a hallway off which there would be a corridor leading to the toilets. We also felt that some storage space would be helpful and so we asked our architect to draw up a new plan. There is still a question as to where the small kitchen facilities should be located. The plan shows it behind a serving bar at the west end of the north wall, near the new entrance The new drawings are now on view in the church and will also be displayed in the post office. This project is very much a community one, so do please look at the drawings and put your comments in the boxes provided.
