We learned recently that Margaret Cross, who lived for many years next to the church, has died suddenly in Wainfleet St. Mary, in Lincolnshire. Margaret moved to this part of the country when she left Elmham.
Margaret will be remembered in the village as a loyal member of the Elmham Players and also a member of the Hand Bell Ringing Group.
For many years until her retirement Margaret taught English at Litcham High School.
