Memorial Hall Founding Members
Many of you will be aware that there used to hang in the Institute large hall, a picture montage of the founding members.
This picture met with an unfortunate accident and some of the individual pictures were severely damaged due to them having become stuck to the glass.
I have taken it upon myself to try and salvage this picture as it is an important record for the institute.
Whilst in most cases this is possible, some of the pictures are in a very poor condition having faded over the years
The point of this letter is a plea to folk in the village for any pictures they may have of any of the following people.
Dr. Arthur Rackham.
George Mace.
The Reverend E.H. Townsend.
Frank Kerrison.
William Shoesmith.
Robert Sheldrake.
Albert Scott.
Sydney Gibbs.
The last named especially, as the picture is in a very poor condition.
