Crazy people
Last Sunday afternoon (11th July), a nice hot sunny afternoon, I was on my way out and whilst driving steadily down a slight hill, approaching a left hand bend I encountered two cyclists, one (probably the father) was slightly over the white line in the middle of the road, the other (probably his child and about 5-6 years old) was on a small bycycle with what appeared to be stabilizers positioned between the father and the grass verge.
Where is the harm I hear you say, the road in question was Back Lane ! - an unrestricted 'B' road - a few yards further and they would have been fully obscured by the bend and blind to any motorists going towards Bawdeswell and just to remind you on an unrestricted road 60mph is the legal speed limit.
Absolute irresponsible madness, a danger to the child, themselves and to any motorist unlucky enough to be involved in an accident with them, and from the motorists point not easy to prove where the fault lay.
If you recognise yourself from this description, please refrain from trying it again for everyones sake, it is potentially catastrophic.
