North Elmham VC Primary School

Mrs O'Dea the Acting Deputy Head is retiring at the end of term, she is in her 20th year at North Elmham and will have no doubt taught many of the Mums and Dads in the village as well as the current children at school.

We wish her a long, happy and healthy retirement and give her our thanks and appreciation for the many years of teaching and inspiration she has given to our children.

Please remember the School Fete; it is on Sunday 5th July 2009 at school from 11.30am. All are welcome.

We are coming to the end of our first year in Partnership with Bawdeswell School. We have taken advantage of many new opportunities for funding and for shared activities between the schools with children building friendships across the two sites.  One highlight was the joint Christmas Concert where the children's singing filled the hall at Northgate High School.

Although it wasn't the reason for going into Partnership, the extra funding has allowed the school to keep things going during this time of economic downturn and serious financial pressure.
