North Elmham Playgroup November
Here at Playgroup we faced our AGM challenge last month and the good news is we enjoyed a good turnout of support, with Sarah Sherwood taking over as Chairperson.
A big pat on the back for those who have helped but now stepped down and to those new members who came along, and of course those members who remain loyal to the Committee for another year. Elected roles to be appointed as we write. This offers a very positive picture for Playgroup as we aspire to make Playgroup even better. When we return to Playgroup on Tuesday 3rd November we will be holding a special "spooky session" for the children and toddlers. It will be a great fun afternoon with fancy dress, games and activities, refreshments and cakes. This is an open session where everyone is invited to stay and play including, mums, dads, grandparents, carers, so please come along and join the party.
We would also like to give an open invitation to all local residents to join us on the evening of Thursday 12th November at the Institute from 6.30pm to 9.30pm, when we will be holding our Christmas Shopping Event. You will find a variety of stalls and will be able to sip on mulled wine and munch on a mince pie. Admission £1. Look out for the posters around the village. Stalls are also still available for anyone wishing to sell their wares! - Please contact Hilary on 667141. Proceeds to Playgroup funds, so show us you care and join us there.
