Playgroup
Playgroup activities this term have been based on the children's own favourite interests and toys. Spiderman, Barbie, mini-beasts, anything goes with the emphasis being on what the children really enjoy doing and having fun with.
Continuing on that 'fun' theme, on Sat 11 July we are asking all Playgroup children and families to join us for an afternoon of family fun. The event is from 3-6pm at the playgroup and activities will include games, face painting, ride-ons, tombola, book and cake stall, BBQ and refreshments (including a bar).
Last month saw some great fundraising with the Bags 4 School collection and our 'Trikeathon' held at the Church Fete. Mabel Vokes won best dressed girl bike as 'Cat Woman' and George Clayton best boy with 'St George and the Dragon'- well done to both of you. Special thanks to everyone who took part and raised sponsorship money. Special thanks to Tia Webb who raised over £100 by herself - excellent effort.
Those older children who will be moving up to big school in September will experience a 'Move up Day' on Thurs 9th July one of a number of initiatives already underway to make an easy transfer from playgroup to school.
Lunch club is also doing well at Playgroup and will continue for the foreseeable future. Use it, don't lose it.
Please remember we are closed on Thursday 2nd July, day 2 of Norfolk Show along with the primary school.
With the end of term being on Friday 17th July we wish everyone a happy holiday. School re-opens on Mon 7th September.
